Single Day or Weekend Tickets are still available, as well as camping passes! Get your tickets in advance and save money off the gate price. Also, the price of camping goes up starting Wednesday. Visit the ticket page for more info.
The Real Big Deal is an All Ages event!
The Alachua County Fairgrounds is located just 10 minutes north of downtown Gainesville next to the Gainesville Regional Airport.Watch for the signs!

Camping entry starts at 9am on Saturday morning, follow the signs for the camping entrance.
There are 4 stages in total, 2 are outside (Ultimate and Amazing), 2 are inside (Super and Wonder), so there will be shelter in case of inclement weather.
There will be a variety of food available at The Real Big Deal, including vegetarian options!Food and drinks will be sold at reasonable, local prices.

In celebration of The Real Big Deal Music, Camping and Arts Festival, Sun King Disc Sports is sponsoring a Disc Golf Tournament.
For those of you unfamiliar with the sport, Disc golf (sometimes called Frisbee Golf) is a disc game in which individual players throw a flying disc into a basket or at a target. Like with Golf, you are trying to complete the course with a few throws as possible.
Sun King Disc Sports in association with Innova Disc Golf and Wham-O are proud to present The Real Big Deal Disc Golf Tournament on September 12th, 2008 at Northside Park in Gainesville, FL! This event was created to give festival-goers a fun, outdoor activity before the festival weekend kicks into gear. The tournament itself is designed for new players and players that have never participated in a tournament, but we also have room for players that have been playing tournaments for years. For those that are unfamiliar with the sport of Disc Golf, think golf with Frisbees! The format is “bring your own partner” best-shot doubles which simply means you and a friend will play as a team, keeping only your best shots to accumulate the final score.
Each player will receive a players package worth $20 and will be eligible to win an assortment of prizes and giveaways provided by tournament and festival sponsors. In addition, the event is offering a FLEX-START which allows participants a window from 10am-4pm to begin their round and complete the 18-hole course. To help new or inexperienced players, we will have plenty of other activities including a putting clinic and practice baskets.
Due to overwhelming demand, the official Real Big Deal ‘08 SCHEDULE has been posted ! Along with that comes SINGLE DAY TICKETS for the low low price of $29, WOW! Get these in advance, as they go up to $35 at the gate!

We encourage you all to take part in this unique event for all skill levels.
Get ready for The Real Big Deal, Gainesville’s only outdoor music and camping festival. The Real Big Deal will feature live music on 4 stages, onsite camping, arts/crafts, and carnival midway, along with an assortment of food and beverage vendors. On the outskirts of Gainesville, Florida, The Real Big Deal takes place at the Alachua County Fairgrounds on September 13-14 of this year.
Picture a festival where anything goes. Our eclectic selection of bands is sure to please any music lover. With a total of 4 live music stages, The Real Big Deal will present national, regional and local artists in a variety of musical genres – from alternative rock, southern rock, punk, ska, funk, reggae, hip hop, electronic and indie. A number of the bands will be making regionally exclusive appearances, so you can only see them in Gainesville!
We hope to make this an annual community event by working with local musicians, artists, non-profit organizations, vendors and businesses. As a community we can make this festival a highlight in Gainesville’s music, arts and culture scene.
